Last month BTT kicked off the 2019 Charlotte Harbor leg of the Tarpon Acoustic Tagging Project, sponsored by Maverick Boat Group, with an 84-pound fish and a nearly 150-pound fish caught by BTT scientist JoEllen Wilson with Capts. Edward Glorioso and Chris Fanelli.
BTT’s tagging team will be tagging in the Charlotte Harbor/Boca Grande area from Tuesday June 25 – Thursday June 27. If you will be tarpon fishing in the area during those days, please contact JoEllen Wilson at: jwilson@bonefishtarpontrust.org.
