Bonefish & Tarpon Trust member and wildlife journalist Chester Moore won first place for “Radio Talk Show” category in the Press Club of Southeast Texas Excellence In Media Awards.
The winning program was an interview with Dr. Aaron Adams, BTT’s Director of Science & Conservation, on bonefish conservation in Florida and tarpon issues on the Gulf Coast.
“It’s an honor and privilege to be recognized for my broadcasting, in particular on a topic I am so passionate about,” Moore said.
Moore’s “Higher Calling Wildlife” podcast took first place in the podcast category. That program runs BTT public service announcements every other episode.
