Under Armour has announced its support for Bonefish & Tarpon Trust as a Bronze Sponsor. The Baltimore, Maryland-based performance apparel company has long been making waves in the fishing apparel arena, and likewise, their support for the conservation of the marine “playing field” is longstanding.
At the 2024 ICAST show, Under Armour Fish debuted a new line of ultra-lightweight SPF shirts and the new Shoreman Deck Boot. A flash sale of the boots benefiting Bonefish & Tarpon Trust’s juvenile sportfish habitat restoration projects in Southwest Florida sold out in under two hours. The Shoreman Deck Boot went on to win an award for best footwear in the ICAST new product showcase. These new products showcase Under Armour’s approach to fishing, wherein anglers, as athletes, deserve the highest-performing apparel to help them achieve their highest performance on the water.
Under Armour is committed to sustainability, with goals to enable circular systems, prioritize recycled and renewable materials, and reduce fiber-shedding from textiles.
